NORTHERN GREECE VOLUNTEERS

The photographic series Northern Greece Volunteers aims to bring awareness towards the theme of refugees in Europe with a new perspective, focusing on the side of independent volunteers and their stories. To date, the presence in Greece of volunteer-based associations and of independent volunteers (that is to say people not connected with high profile NGOs) remains essential to help in a situation that is still very critical, despite not being covered by media anymore. Working autonomously and far from European funding, these associations are supported physically with the tireless help of international volunteers.
