These Trafic vans parked on the sides of remote byways whose toponymy recalls the woods’ former use as a military facility look unreal, almost dreamlike, like bits of stage sets or shelters in the night. They recall toys or scale models, their repetition making them seem even more unsettling. The images’ processing refers to the codes of this world intruding on the pleasure vans.
