The region of Ayacucho was one of the most affected during the political violence and armed conflict time in Peru between the 70s and 90s. Rural Ayacucho carries a past charged with pain but also centuries of a complex Andean cosmovision where myth and reality meet.

I would like this work to shape a multi-layered evocation of the region that reflects this synthesis: exploring the sculptural of its landscapes, the juxtaposition of present and past, of loss and hope.

Born 1985, Lima, Peru.
Lives and works in London, United Kingdom and Peru.
