PHOTO SLAM! ARLES 2021
La Lucha continua
I started this project as a response to the 2019 political crisis in Bolivia. In this body of work, I combine archival materials with photographs of my family and the landscape of my hometown, La Paz. Through this personal exploration of my family’s history, this work seeks to address issues regarding state violence, trauma and collective memory.
