When I was younger, I dreamed of being an R'n'B singer. In my housing project I’d perform day and night to music by Nelly, Mariah Carey, Aaliyah, Usher and Ashanti, hoping to be in their place one day. Covers pays tribute to this kind of music, which keeps me going through the day.

As a member of “Generation 2.0”, my artistic approach is intertwined with contemporary society. My influences are like a melting pot of inspirations from across the centuries, from 19th-century art pompier to R’n’B from the 2000s and underground subcultures. I develop a singular style bordering on the aesthetics of kitsch and poor taste.
