Whether with natural or artificial light, participants will explore several facets of portrait photography, using technical equipment and various shooting conditions.

After these experiments, the work will consist of precisely defining one's own aesthetic and technical decisions in order to achieve a more personal approach.

Particular attention will be paid to lighting and how to use it to bring out features and expressions, and also how to sculpt with it and create atmosphere and feeling around a person.
It is meticulous work based on observation, achievable with simple equipment or with more sophisticated material that you will learn to master.

The technical aspects should not detract from the importance of the relationship with the person being photographed, nor make it any less necessary to be clear about one's own aims, both in style and in content.
