Édition 2003
July 5 — October 12
This year more than ever the Rencontres d'Arles deserves to be called a Festival. In 2003 just about every exhibition is an event in its own right. Arles this year will be welcoming a rarely equalled accumulation of sheer talent. The scope and variety of a programme so harmoniously adapted to the architecture of Arles will enable photography professionals to enrich the informal seminar represented by the Rencontres' opening week; and the artists present will provide the public with an near-infinite gamut of photographic possibilities and sensitivities.
