This workshop aims to help participants create a coherent body of work with the help of Julien Pebrel's wise advice. They will focus on a specific space to make a portrait. Each will choose, depending on his or her wishes, past experiences and a place to explore: a district, a street, a quay, a monument, a stadium, a building, a park, a wasteland... the playground will have very diverse aspects.

The challenge will be to go beyond what is simply shown, to bring out, through the image, the specificity of the place through its own features but also, and very largely, through the people who bring it alive or pass through it.
As much as possible, this will include the human and social dimension, interactions, presences, exchanges or simply the traces left by man.

The course will also take into account everyone's sensibility, both in the choice of subject and in the way it is treated. Each one’s characteristics will be discussed to specify a distance and determine aesthetic and sometimes technical choices. In some cases this step will be necessary to refocus one's approach but also to question certain habits and go beyond one's practice.

This exciting workshop will take advantage of Mr. Pebrel's experience to finalize a personal series that will be exhibited on the last day.
