For thirty years, Spanish photographer Chema Madoz has held a particular place in the international artistic scene. His highly singular work does not adhere to any particular trend, although the in influence of the Surrealist movement has often been noted. Extremely rigorous on a graphic level, his black and white compositions of the banal or familiar objects that he creates, gathers or transforms in his studio allow an imaginary world to unfold which radically questions our sense of perception.
