ENSP 1994 Mireille Loup graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie d’Arles in 1994. A photographer, video artist and writer, her work has been present in galleries in France and abroad since 1991, and her books started being published in 1999. Visual and sound systems and installations, Internet fictions, iPad applications, Mireille Loup’s art deals with discursive and aesthetic forms that establish cross-disciplinary communication. Her works are exhibited in art centres and museums such as the Museum de Arte Contemporânea da Universidade de São Paulo (Brazil), Musée Malraux (France), Musée d’Art Moderne et d’Art Contemporain de la Ville de Liège (Belgium) and the Centre National des Arts du Canada in Ottawa. She is present in many public and private collections, including the Fonds National d’Art Contemporain and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
