In early nineties, Miguel Mitlag participated in workshops at the International Center of Photography in New York. Graduated as a filmmaker at the Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires in 1996, he also studied classes with Alberto Goldenstein, Jorge Gumier Maier and Guillermo Kuitca. He took part in several collective exhibitions around the world and had solo exhibitions in Buenos Aires (Galeria Slyzmud, Braga Menéndez, Malba) and Berlin (Galerie Koal). He is the author of several documentaries, among them: Dinner with Suarez (1998) and A Story of Trash Rococo (2009).
