Jean-Louis Garnell earned an engineering degree before participating in the DATAR Photographic Mission in 1985 and 1986, one of his first experiences as an artist. He is pursuing his exploration of disorder and the undetermined. Drawing material from his immediate surroundings, he makes and shows highly varied pieces that almost always include several images.
