A performance based on the legendary Stephen King thriller that Stanley Kubrick brought to the screen in 1980. What if a scrapbook with hundreds of press clippings and scary, spine-chilling pictures could unlock the mystery of The Shining?
WHAT DIANE ARBUS WASN’T DOING
In this presentation, Darius Himes discusses with Neil Selkirk the many common photographic practices eschewed by Arbus in her work, seeking to peel away some of the many layers of misunderstanding that have evolved, and hoping to make those who choose to look free to see.

To complement this summer’s exhibition Light of Saints. A Photographic Pilgrimage at the Chapel of the Museon Arlaten, the Rencontres d’Arles has invited director Tony Gatlif (Latcho Drom, Gadjo dilo, Exils, Liberté, Tom Medina…) to tell us the story of the Gitanos, Manouches, Romani, and Travelers of France and Europe.
Tony Gatlif recounts the tale of these peoples, whose memory is lost in an endless present where myths and stereotypes are confused with reality.
