Case 3181 is an experimental photo-essay, a visual document with factual and fictional fragments that reconstruct a femicide in which the victim is represented by a mannequin.
Combining found imagery with documentary photography and using an unconventional narrative, this project explores the problem of violence against women without sensationalising the subject or re-victimising victims.
