Léonard Contramestre and Clémence Elman
Tornerò
“This is the story of a shoot that cost only 37 euros, i.e. the price of a beige corduroy suit bargained over at a flea market and a pair of cowboy boots bought on the internet.”
The film is about the inability to develop a narrative. It borrows known and stereotyped narrative patterns from cinematic references and technical processes, but without a specific plot, constantly stuttering and keeping the viewer in a space-time loop that freezes the storyline. A man gets out of a car and walks into a hotel. From this simple pitch, the film integrates/abstracts/shows a host of possible narrative choices and hesitations.
