LE DERNIER VOYAGE
On December 16, 2017, in Bucharest, a state funeral was held for the last Romanian king, Michael I of Romania, who was forced to abdicate in 1947. The funeral train left Bucharest after the official ceremonies and took the body as far as the royal necropolis at Curtéa de Arges. Most attendees among the crowd lining the way had, of course, never known the king.
