- Anne Gallot, who holds a “baccalauréat professionnel artisanat et métier d’art option photographie” in 2003, and a bachelor’s degree in philosophy in 2009, is the manager of FOCALE bookstore-gallery in Nyon, Switzerland.

Preferring a realistic approach to the medium, FOCALE exhibits works closely aligned with documentary photography, characterized by a unique artistic expression. With a commitment to welcoming Swiss and international photographers, FOCALE has presented works by renowned photographers such as Denis Brihat, Gilles Caron, Denis Dailleux, Robert Frank, Leonard Freed, Gilbert Garcin, Mario Giacomelli, Andreas Horvath, Klavdij Sluban, and Paolo Woods.

FOCALE provides support to photographers who present comprehensive and substantial bodies of work, highlighting high-quality artworks that reflect deep reflection on both form and content. Emphasis is placed on the originality of the subject's treatment and the relevance of the author's vision, which are two decisive criteria in the selection of exhibitions. Additionally, the innovative aspect of the proposed work, particularly in the Swiss Romandy region, is also taken into consideration.

 
- Aurélien Garzarolli, a graduate of the Vevey School of Photography in 2003, took over the Actinic workshop in Geneva in 2007, collaborating with renowned figures in photography and contemporary creation, earning him a prominent position in the field of printing and current photographic production. He collaborates with Geneva institutions such as the Rath Museum and the Red Cross, as well as internationally acclaimed photographers like David Lynch, Gérard Traquandi, and Sophie Calle.

Since 2008, alongside his work as a printer at Actinic, he has been a member of the FOCALE association committee in Nyon, selecting works and designing the exhibition layouts for all gallery shows.

In 2019, he co-founded workshops with Reto Albertalli to provide long-term support to photography enthusiasts of all levels, offering training courses, personalized guidance, and assistance in the development and completion of personal photography projects. The training has led several members
