Author and curator Sonia Voss has recently co-published a monograph on the Künstlerinnengruppe Erfurt, a 1980s East German women’s artists’ collective that was featured in the 2019 Rencontres d'Arles exhibition "Restless Bodies East German Photography 1980-1989". She was the Rencontres d’Arles guest curator for the 2021 Louis Roederer Discovery Award and supported Isabelle Le Minh’s project Real Crystal: After Alfred Ehrhardt (Goethe Institut Paris & Alfred Ehrhardt Stiftung, Berlin, 2019-20) and Anton Roland Laub’s Mobile Churches, presented at various places in France, Germany, Romania and Lithuania. She works on a regular basis with French and German publishers, especially Atelier Xavier Barral.
