Director and founder of Foto Festival Paranapiacaba (Sao Paulo/Brazil). Master's degree in arts from the University of Kent, England and visiting scholar at Harvard University, USA. Professor and coordinator of photography at Senac University since 1990. Former president of the photography producers network in Brazil. Curator more than 60 photographic exhibitions in Brazil such as Claudia Andujar, Magnum 60 years; Edward Curtis; Observers - British Scene Photography from 1930 to today; Immigrant Portraits at the Ellis Island Museum, NY; Arno Rafael Minkkinen, Body as Evidence; Magnum at the Cinema; Henri Cartier-Bresson; Elliott Erwitt; Altered Ocean.
Abroad, he has curated exhibitions in the following countries: Portugal, United States, Cuba, England, Italy and Switzerland.
Works with projects and consultancy accessibility, photography and visually impaired since 2008. Coordinator of the project to use of photography in classroom. Author of several books in Brazil.
