Arnaud Bizalion was born and raised in Arles, the city of photography with an outstanding ancient heritage. As a child, he took drawing lessons with the Hungarian artist Sandor before participating in workshops in Arles and Avignon, where he attended university. In parallel, he was interested in every form of artistic expression, including photography. In 1978, he was admitted to the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts d'Aix-en-Provence. In 1980, he continued in an MFA program in photography at Beaux-Arts de Marseille-Luminy, where Bernard Perrine was his teacher. In 1983, Mr. Bizalion co-founded the company Images En Manœuvres, which he co-directed until 2013, when he created the Arnaud Bizalion Éditeur publishing company, which publishes about 10 photography and art books a year. To date, 120 titles have been published. They are disseminated by CEDIF and distributed by Pollen.
