L’Œil Urbain explores new urban realities. This photography festival, whose 11th edition will take place from March 31 to May 20, has become an unmissable event in France. About 10 exhibitions, all within walking distance from the RER station, can be seen on a route through the city that takes visitors both indoors (Municipal Art Gallery, Chantemerle Media Library, theatre) and outdoors (square in front of the City Hall, Place Crété, Rue du Trou-Patrix, bandstand). Since the festival’s creation, a resident artist has been invited to present his or her vision of Corbeil-Essonnes. The work is exhibited at a solo show during the next year’s festival. All L’Œil Urbain exhibitions are free.
