An art historian, Marta Ponsa oversees artistic projects and cultural activities for the Jeu de Paume, in Paris, where she organizes cinema programs, conferences and performances. As a curator, she recently organized exhibitions including: Le Supermarché des images with the philosopher Peter Szendy; Travaux en cours: Noëlle Pujol, Ben Rivers et Ana Vaz, and a solo exhibition of the artist Marine Hugonnier and a film program of the Mexican filmmaker Nicolás Pereda. She is currently preparing an exhibition devoted to Chantal Akerman and is regularly involved with institutions focused on photography and contemporary art as well as with photography and design schools.
