Karolina Ziebinska-Lewandowska holds a PhD in art history and is the director of the Museum of Warsaw. From 2014 to 2020, she was the curator of the photography department at MNAM Centre Pompidou. She co-founded the Fondation de l’Archéologie de Photographie and was its director until 2014 and was a curator at the Zacheta National Gallery of Art in Warsaw (1999-2010). Her books and exhibitions include Documentalistes – femme photographes polonaise du 20e siècle (2008), Brassaï – Graffiti (2016) and David Goldblatt (2017). She co-curated the exhibitions Qu’est-ce que la photographie ? (2015), Wojciech Zamecznik – Photo-Graphics (2016) and Dora Maar (2019).
