Walter Moser is Chief Curator for photography in the Albertina Museum, Vienna. He studied Art History at the University of Vienna and Roma Tre. He worked for several museums, including the Austrian Film Museum and the Wien Museum. His PhD was on Warren Lynch’s film stills for Erich von Stroheim’s Greed. He has curated exhibitions such as Lewis Baltz (2013), Blow-Up: Antonioni’s Film Classic and Photography (2014), Lee Miller (2015), Provoke – Between Protest and Performance (Co-Curator, 2016), Film Stills – Photography between Art, Advertising, and Cinema (2016), Acting for the Camera (2017), Austria. Photography 1970–2000 (2017) and Robert Frank (2017/2018).
