Mark Sealy

Mark Sealy is interested in the relationship between photography and social change, identity politics, race, and human rights. He has been director of Autograph ABP (London) since 1991 and has produced artist publications, curated exhibitions, and commissioned photographers and filmmakers worldwide, including the recent critically acclaimed project Human Rights Human Wrongs exhibition. Sealy has been awarded the Hood Medal by the Royal Photographic Society and a Most Excellent Order of the British Empire award for services to photography 2013. He recently gained his PhD from Durham University. His thesis examined the relationship between photography and cultural violence.
