François Halard

Born in 1961 in France.

François Halard lives and works in New York, Paris and Arles, and regularly contributes to Vogue and Vanity Fair. He was one of the main authors of Vogue Living: Houses, Gardens, People (2007). He also authored La Maison de verre (Actes Sud, 2007), Lieux de la reine (Thames & Hudson, 2005) and Villa Malaparte (Actes Sud, 2003). These photographs were shown at the Collection Lambert, Avignon, in 2007 as part of the exhibition Il faut rendre à Cézanne... He also collaborated on the catalogue of Cy Twombly’s exhibition Blooming, a scattering of blossoms and other things for the Collection Lambert (Gallimard, 2007), and on the catalogue of Miguel Barcelo’s exhibition Terramare in Avignon, 2010 (Actes Sud, 2010).
