Krzysztof Candrowicz
Born 1979, Lodz, Poland. Lives and works in Lodz, Poland, and Hamburg, Germany.
Krzysztof Candrowicz is a founder and director of the Fotofestiwal—International Festival of Photography in Lodz (Poland), the Foundation of Visual Education, and the Lodz Art Center. As director of the festival, in 2004 he established the Photo Festival Union, a network of 30 European photography festivals. Krzysztof Candrowicz is also a guest curator and visiting lecturer for numerous organisations, museums, and festivals in Europe and worldwide. In January 2014 he was named artistic director of the Triennal of Photography, Hamburg.
