Juan Pablo Echeverri

Born 1978, Bogotá, Colombia. Lives and works in Bogotá, Colombia.
Juan Pablo Echeverri has exhibited internationally in group and solo exhibits, such as The Photographers’ Gallery, London; The Havana Biennial, Cuba; Itau Cultural, São Paulo; Saatchi Gallery; and the Museum of Modern Art, Bogotá, among others. His full body of work has been based on self-portraits since 1998 in which he uses his body as a main tool to create a parallel universe where identity and gender issues emerge in images that mirror the way we construct identity.
