After studies in literature and journalism, Marguerite Bornhauser entered the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie – Arles, receiving her diploma in 2015. Her first solo institutional exhibition was held at the Maison Européenne de la Photographie in 2019. Her work is represented by several European galleries and has been exhibited by museums, galleries, and festivals throughout the world (France, Turkey, Portugal, Switzerland, Japan, Netherlands, Spain, Bahrain …). In 2021, the Grand Palais gave her carte blanche to observe the 4 years of its restoration project.
