Wang GONGXIN
Born in 1960 in Beijing (China).
Lives and works between New York and Beijing.
Wang Gongxin is a graduate of the Art Academy of the Capital Normal University in Beijing.
His most recent individual exhibitions are: Group Show at the Art Basel Hong Kong, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center, Hong Kong (China) ; New Sights in Chinese Contemporary Art, VIVACOM Art Hall, Sofia, Bulgaria; National Museum of Contemporary Art, Bucarest (Romania) ; “Move on Asia: Video Art in Asia 2002 to 2012”, ZKM Media Museum (Germany) ; “Wang Gongxin Solo Show”, Media Art Asia Pacific Space (Australia) in 2013.
Wang Gongxin presented his work with his wife Lin Tianmiao, at the Rencontres d'Arles in 2003: Wang Gongxin and Lin Tianmiao at the église des Frère-Prêcheurs.
