Mathieu BERNARD-REYMOND

Born in 1976 in Gap, France.
Lives and works in Lausanne, Switzerland.



After studying humanities, political science and art history, he attended classes at the École de Photographie de Vevey in Switzerland.

Since completing his studies, he has taken part in the “Printemps de Septembre” festival in Toulouse in 2002, the “Festival Images” au Centre in 2003, and in exhibitions during Lille's European City of Culture year in 2004. His images have also been shown in various galleries and institutions in countries including France, Switzerland, Canada, the United States, Spain and Japan.

In 2003, Bernard-Reymond won the Prix de la Fondation CCF pour la Photographie.


Mathieu Bernard-Reymond presented his work at the Rencontres d'Arles, nominated by Marta Gili for the 2005 No Limit Award: Intervals: 2000-2005 / TV: 2004-2005
