Yang Yongliang’s art work which using photography as material is concerned with the relationship between modern life and the nature. Started his art career from 2006, his works have been collected and exhibited widely, including Bates College Museum of Art in U.S.A., British Museum London, Red Mansion Foundation London, MoCA Shanghai and was invited residency program in Gyeonggido Museum of Modern art in Korea and will be in the 2nd Thessaloniki Biennale in Greece this year.
Yang Yongliang had ten years training of Chinese traditional painting and calligraphy in his early age, graduated from China Fine Art Academy Institute, Visual Communication department. He lives and works in Shanghai, lectures in Shanghai Institute of Vision Art. His work had been taken part in China Pingyao International Photography Festival 2007 and Art Miami 2008.
