An evening with William Kentridge—one of the most protean artists of his generation. Combining drawing, film, sculpture, theatre, and opera, he is renowned for his politically engaged practice. This evening features a unique series of animations and films hand selected by the artist to illuminate his work and methodology. Introduced and each one contextualized by William Kentridge himself, the evening is full of wild possibilities.

GAURI GILL
Distinguished photographer Gauri Gill, winner of the tenth cycle of the Prix Pictet, presents her winning series Notes from the Desert in the context of her other ongoing work from rural India. This will be followed by the announcement of the theme for the award’s eleventh cycle.
