MADAME FIGARO PHOTO AWARD
This award is dedicated to women photographers and honors the work of an artist from the Rencontres d'Arles program.
DISCOVERY AWARD
LOUIS ROEDERER FOUNDATION
The Rencontres d’Arles associates the Discovery Award Louis Roederer Foundation with galleries, art centers, artist-run spaces, independent venues, and institutions. This year's guest curator is Tanvi Mishra.
With support from the Louis Roederer Foundation and Polka.
LIVE MAGAZINE
The Rencontres Live Magazine was launched one night in Arles six years ago. The idea was to create, in the Théâtre Antique, a "99% real" ephemeral experience: a group of photographers, artists, filmmakers and journalists who would tell with a great deal of trepidation what they could not tell elsewhere, thus founding, for one evening only, a living newspaper. Once again this year, the "pages" will be turned, the "sections" will be covered, and we will move from one subject to another, from an intimate story to a global investigation, celebrating the power of the image.
15 € in ticket offices, online and on site from 8:45 pm
(T.R. 12-18 years old : 10 € / free for holders of a pro pass and for children under 12 years old).
