2023 calls for applications

Call for applications: September 15th — November 15th, 2022
LOUIS ROEDERER DISCOVERY AWARD 2023
All the exhibition venues are eligible for the Louis Roederer Discovery Award. Through their pioneering work, galleries, art centers, community spaces, independent venues and institutions are often the first to support emerging artists.
Ten projects will be shortlisted and exhibited at the 2023 Rencontres d'Arles.
During opening week, a jury gives the Louis Roederer Discovery Award to an artist and the structure behind his or her project with an acquisition worth €15,000, and the public confers the Public Award with an acquisition worth €5,000.

Call for applications: September 23rd — December 15th, 2022
THE CURATORIAL RESEARCH GRANT 2023
For the sixth consecutive year, the Rencontres d’Arles offers a €5,000 Curatorial Research Grant open to all the exhibition curators.

Call for applications: end of March — June, 2023
THE 2023 BOOK AWARDS
The Rencontres d’Arles book awards were created to support the extraordinary growth of photography books and contribute to their wider distribution. They honor three categories of books published during the year: the Author’s Book Award, Historical Book Award and Photo-text Award.
Each is endowed with €6,000.
