2020 AWARDS & PROJECTS MAINTAINED

Following the cancellation of the 51st Rencontres d'Arles, our partners, in solidarity with the artists and the festival, have stepped up so that certain projects as well as the 2020 awards can go on as scheduled.

AUGUST 28 AND 29, TWO EXCEPTIONAL RENCONTRES D’ARLES EVENINGS TO PROLONG THE JOURNÉES D’AGIR POUR LE VIVANT
The Rencontres d'Arles is teaming up with the first edition of Agir pour le Vivant, a major festival imagined by the publishers Actes Sud. From August 24 to 30, this new space for reflection and exchange invites you to put the living back at the heart of debates and to meet people who imagine the world of tomorrow. Around a hundred guests, writers, philosophers, scientists, gardeners, botanists, agronomists, herbalists, entrepreneurs and environmental activists will be invited to participate in conferences, debates, exhibitions and screenings to renew the great history of man's relationship with nature.

Free evenings shows, on reservation from 20 August on our website.

THE RENCONTRES LIVE MAGAZINE
Live Magazine is a living newspaper, a unique event where writers and artists tell the world’s story in words, images and sounds. Authors who rarely speak, famous writers going against the grain and emerging photographers recount intimate, planetary stories, fundamental for those who tell them, unforgettable for those who hear them, 100% ephemeral and 99% true.
