Participants in this intensive three-day course will explore the gypsy festival in Saintes Maries de la Mer, a small town near Arles: a unique event when various communities come to honor their patron saint, black Sarah.

Participants in this three-day course will take stock of their photographic practice by identifying what works, what doesn’t and what can be improved, experimenting to narrow down choices (distance, technique, subject, etc.).

Whether the light is natural or artificial, the participants will explore various aspects of the photographic portrait through the experimentation of diverse technical devices and shooting conditions.
