These five exciting days will allow you to approach with enthusiasm and simplicity the main steps that make it possible to achieve a successful photographic portrait.
An approach which will focus in particular on the way of working with the person photographed. Sometimes it will be about reassuring, and at other times reassuring yourself, and then daring to lead and support gently, with kindness.
Another primordial axis, the subject of much attention, will be that of light. Whether natural or coming from a flash or an LED panel, it will help shape an atmosphere, a personal style.
It will highlight or leave in the shadows, reinforce colors, as it brings vitality and energy.
Technical and aesthetic choices which will tend towards a certain efficiency in order not to get lost in endless adjustments and thus maintain a certain spontaneity and intensity with the person placed in front of the lens.
The daily photography selection sessions will allow us to discuss the elements that work or not, the points to improve and the successes to repeat.
To conclude, time will be devoted to retouching and harmonizing the files in order to constitute a coherent whole which will then be presented in the form of a small exhibition.

MARIE ROUGE
Marie Rouge, 32, started photography at the age of 15, taking self-portraits with her father's camera. Photos of demonstrations, portraits of friends and then of famous people, or images of evenings… Marie Rouge’s writing – always very colorful – is imbued with empathy and gentleness. Although discreet, the photographer based in Paris does not hide her commitment. She campaigns for many causes including the defense of minorities and gender equality. Through her creations, she manages to transmit her ideals and advocate tolerance. She collaborates regularly with Libération, L’Obs, the Journal La Croix, Causette, etc.
