Body Ebb and Flow presents a group of international contemporary artists from the visual arts and the world of choreography, focusing on the body's relationship with water, in relation to surpassing itself.

Essential to life, water sometimes hinders our movements and limits our breathing. Admittedly, we may float in it, but we can also get stuck and sink in this liquid prison, immense and disturbing, yet fascinating, where space and time expand infinitely. Invisible yet tangible, it defies gravity, and its agile, winding torrents push us to surpass ourselves.

From romantic naiads to the aquatic dreams of Pina Baush, water invites itself onto the stage and becomes a medium de-formed by the movements of the liquid body.

At a time when water is becoming a global concern, the commitment of the body cannot be without a commitment to the environment and politics. Guided by the dynamics of flow, from sleep to awakening, from disappearance to appearance, possessed by water, we forget the body and become thought.
