Rasmus Vasli (b. 1986) is a Norwegian gallerist and curator who mainly works with young, up-and-coming artists within the contemporary photography scene.
He completed a Master of Arts Photography in 2011 from the University of the Arts London.
Since 2013 he has been the director and co-founder (with Marcio Souza) of Vasli Souza.
As a gallerist, he strives to show diversity through both national and international projects, and works actively to find artists whose work previously has gone under the radar. Humor often plays an important part.
Since opening in 2013, exhibited names includes Ren Hang (CH), Zanele Muholi (ZA), Karolina Wojtas (PL), Sami Parkkinen (FI), Pixy Liao (CH), Yushi Li (CH), AdeY (GB/SE) and Nelli Palomäki (FI).
As well as participating in art fairs such as Unseen, Paris Photo and MIA Milan (2021).
In 2022 Vasli was appointed the position as curator of the Nordic Light Festival of Photography, and has since contributed to the festival as head of the artistic board.
