Hugo Vitrani

Born 1987 in Paris, France.
Lives and works in Paris, France.
Hugo Vitrani has infiltrated the Palais de Tokyo, invisibly rolling out the Lasco Project to rethink exhibitions through rumour and frustration. His research focuses on the bad seeds of art history, particularly those stemming from writings that take root in the margins of territories, laws, and institutions. He has, for example, signed the monographs of Mohamed Bourouissa (2024), Jay Ramier (2021), Florian and Michael Quistrebert (2016) as well as the exhibitions La Morsure des termites (2023-2024) and Prince×ss×es des villes (2019). He is co-curator of the 2019 Lyon Biennial and recently paid tribute to Virgil Abloh at Galerie kreo (2023).
