Bernard Faucon studied philosophy and theology. He was one of the first artists to explore the possibilities of photographic mise en scène. He began working on this genre in 1976, then called a stop in 1995. From 1997-2003, Bernard Faucon developed the “best day of my youth” event in 25 countries around the world, and in 1999 published his first collection of writing, La peur du voyage (The Fear of Travelling).
