Massimo Berruti
Born in 1979 in Rome. Lives and works in Rome.
Massimo Berruti is a thirty-two year old Roman photojournalist and member of the VU’ agency. His work has appeared in major Italian and European publications such as L’Espresso, Internazionale, D la Repubblica delle Donne, Le Monde 2, and The Independent. Since 2007, he has focused his investigative work on society in Pakistan and Afghanistan, as well as the tribal zones where world terrorism is nurtured in the Taliban and Al-Qaeda training camps. He has received many awards since 2007, most recently the Carmignac Gestion Photojournalism Award.
