Jan Mulder
Lives and works in Lima, Peru.
Jan Mulder studied photography at Boston University in the USA, before starting an international business carreer. He is presently a director and member of the Board of the Quimica Suiza group of companies based in Lima, Peru. He founded the Centro de la Imagen in Lima, the El Ojo Ajeno cultural center and the Foto e Imagen association. He is also an associate member of the board at the Museo de Arte de Lima. He is a prominent patron of the arts in Peru, having promoted the creation of the LimaPhoto gallery fair and the Mirafoto festival, which has now become the Bienal de Fotografia de Lima since 2012. His private collection of visual arts includes painting, sculpture and photography.
