David Hornillos, who studied photography at Madrid’s Blank Paper school, is a member of the Fotoaplauso collective. His photographs have appeared in several exhibitions, including at Madrid’s Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia, Photoespaña 2014, CentroCentro Madrid, Palacio de Cibeles (Lanzadera, 2015), the Circulation(s) festival in Paris and the Wuhan Art Museum in Wuhan, China. His first book, Mediodía (Dalpine, 2014), was nominated for the 2014 Photobook Award Kassel and the 2014 First Book Award MACK.
