Juliette Agnel studied visual arts and ethno-aestheticism at Université Paris 1 before graduating with honors from the École des Beaux-Arts de Paris in 1999. Meeting Jean Rouch brought her to Africa, where she worked for over 10 years. She pursued her research on extreme landscapes and natural forces during expeditions to Greenland in 2018, Sudan in 2019 and the prehistoric caves in Arcy-sur-Cure (2021-2023). Her photographs have been presented in South Korea, Norway and Canada as well as at solo shows in France.
