Céline Clanet is a graduate from the École Nationale Supérieure de Photographie, Arles. She’s interested in questions related to the land, which she explores in series on remote places and their inhabitants. She’s published several books, including Du Torrent au Courant (2011) and Les Chapieux, Géographie d’un Secret (2014, both with Actes Sud); Kola
(Loco, 2018) and Máze (Photolucida, 2010). Winner of several prizes and grants (Grande Commande Photographique, BnF, 2022, Robert Bosch Stiftung, Germany, 2019, Bourse pour la Photographie Documentaire, Cnap, 2011, Critical Mass Award, USA, 2009), her work is held by several collections, among which those of Cnap, Neuflize OBC, Société Française de Photographie, and Portland Art Museum (USA).
