Vishal Kumaraswamy is an artist-curator working across text, film, sound, performance, and computational arts. His works draw from his Dalit heritage to investigate critical concerns around caste, race, language and identity by employing emergent and experimental technologies. His works have been shown in many institutions. In 2021 he received the Warehouse421 Artistic Research Grant and is currently a 2022-2024 Research Associate at CCA Derry~Londonderry. Kumaraswamy has an MA Photography from CSM, London. He is currently an artist-in-residence at the Singapore Art Museum.
