JAPANESE WOMEN PHOTOGRAPHERS FROM THE 1950S TO NOW
Echoing the exhibition presented this summer at the Palais de l’Archevêché, the musician and artist Higashi Yoko appropriates the images of the twenty-six Japanese photographers through an astonishing musical performance with eclectic sounds, both traditional and contemporary.

ISHIUCHI MIYAKO
Kering and the Rencontres d’Arles present Ishiuchi Miyako with the sixth Women In Motion Award for Photography. By presenting intimate scenes, Ishiuchi Miyako invites viewers to confront their own perceptions of femininity, womanhood, and the place of women.
