Tënk, an online documentary platform, and the Rencontres d’Arles transform the Cour Fanton into an outdoor cinema with new films, documentaries, and rare finds.

At the Atlantic Bar in Arles, Nathalie, the owner, is the center of attention. Here, people sing, dance and hold on to each other. After the announcement that the bar is up for sale, Nathalie and the regulars face the end of their world and of a place that is both destructive and vital.

Avant-garde filmmaker Barbara Hammer offers a rereading, from the island of Jersey, of the love affair and creative adventure of the extraordinary artist couple Claude Cahun and Marcel Moore. Composed as a collage of photographs, documents and interviews interspersed with fictional scenes, the film retraces the life and work of two women whose work and destiny have been unjustly forgotten.

QUEBRAMAR

A group of young lesbians from São Paulo go on a trip to a remote beach. At the end of the year, the mood is one of celebration, friendship and music. They take care of each other, they own their bodies, their memories and their freedom.

Di is a 12-year-old girl and belongs to the Hmong, an ethnic minority in which girls get married at a very young age, after a controversial “bride-kidnapping”.
